Rene Marceau is a skilled organist who owns Marceau and Associates Pipe Organ Builders, Inc. in Portland, Oregon. As President and Tonal Director, he builds, restores and installs many fine instruments around the country. Examples of his work which can be seen and/or described on the net are several Seattle area organs, Pava/Saint Michael and the St. Michael's Lutheran Church's Kimball 341 in Portland, Oregon.
He also hosts a one-half hour program of pipe organ music, Age Of The Organ, each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:00 pm on Portland, Oregon Radio Station KBPS FM.
He is or has been a member of ATOS, Oregon Chapter ATOS, Columbia River Organ Club, American Guild of Organists and several pipe organ builder associations. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the AGO Oregon Program.
